The first setup

The first time you start the application the will see the start-up screen.

You can either create a new configuration for a new library, load an existing configuration or open up the documentation.

Create new configuration

Where to save the settings?

Define where the config file is saved.

The config file contains the global configuration of all libraries. Here you can define the file structure and naming convention for each of the libraries.Either use the default location or set a custom location.

For single users its properly best to use the default location. For a studio you want to select a place on you server where everybody can access it.

Use a preset?

Either start your config from scratch or use a predefined preset.
The preset will help you get start fast. It sets up the path patterns and values for you. If you use the software for the first time, it's probably a good thing to start with a predefined preset.

The path pattern and values define you naming convention and file structure on disk.

Finally click the ‚let’s go‘ button to create the setup.

You get redirect you to a new page where you can choose either to create or load your libraries.
